COLLEGE RULES AND REGULATIONS
 


1.College Timings: 8.30 a.m to 3.55 p.m
Students are not permitted to enter into the Campus after 8.30 a.m and not allowed to leave the college before 3.55 p.m. Visitors are strictly not allowed during the Class Hours.

2.Identity Card: Each student will be issued with an Identity Card with name, photo and signature. they should bring the identity card while coming to the college all the times.

3.Staff In-chrage: Each and every student will be attached with a staff as a student counselor/staff incharge.This Counselor will advice/counsel on academic and other activities for the entire academic needs.

4. Ragging: Govt. of Tamil Nadu has banned Ragging in Educational Institutions by passing government Order.

Hence any one indulging in Ragging will be punished as follows:

A.Imprisonment upto a term of 2 years

B.A fine upto Rs. 10,000/-

C.Student convicted for Ragging will be dismissed from the Institution and shall not be admitted to any other Educational Institution.

Hence all students particularly the Senior students have been advised not to indulge in Ragging but to rise up totally against this evil.

 

The Management reserves the right of admission. In matters of admission, academic programmes, extra curricular , co-curricular activities and students discipline the decisions of the management shall be final and binding on all parties concerned.

The Management reserves the right to increase fees for any course of study at the beginning of the academic year, if necessary. Tuition fees and other fees should be paid on or before the stipulated dates.

All admisions are made provisionally and subject to the approval of AICTE & Affiliation of Anna University.

Indulgence in activities of Union or association based on Caste, Color, Creed, language, Nationality or Political ideology will not be permitted within the premises of the College or in the hostels.

The Management reserves the right to expel from the college any student on grounds of serious irregularity of attendance, insubordination, malpractice in examination or any other act of indiscipline or misconduct. the decision of the college authorities in this regard shall be final.

The students should not loiter in the college premises when the classes are in progress. When they are free, they should make use of the college library.

Ragging in any form is serious offence and those including in it will be summarily dismissed. The cause of expulsion will be entered in their Transfer Certificate.

Strict discipline will be maintained in the College campus. Non-compliance with the guidelines or regulations of the college will be severely dealt with by appropriate disciplinary action.

Students can take part in inter - college competitions, TV/Radio Programmes, only after getting the prior permission from the Principal.

 

Attendance


1. Students attendance is given priority in the academic life of the College. It is imperative that a student secures a minimum attendance of 80% to be eligible to appear for the University Examinations at the end of each semester.

2. Students who are absent on medical grounds should produce a Valid Medical Certificate along with an endorsement letter from the parent/guardian while reporting to College after recovery from illness.

3. A student who is continuously absent for 30 days without a valid reason will be removed from the rolls of the College.
